Taryne Hensley MSN, APRN-C

Meet Ms. Hensley

Taryne Hensley MSN, APRN-C, originally from southeast Kansas, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in dermatology. She earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Kansas in 2012 and began her career in pulmonary medicine, where she cared for patients with complex respiratory conditions from 2012 to 2014. Dermatology has always been Taryne’s passion, and she transitioned into the field to pursue her long-standing interest in skin health. Since 2014, she has been dedicated to caring for patients in the Kansas City area for their dermatological needs.

Ms. Hensley is a member of the Dermatology Nurses' Association and its Nurse Practitioner Society, the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She also serves as a dermatology preceptor for nurse practitioner students in the Kansas City area.

Taryne currently resides in Overland Park, KS with her husband and two children. In her free time she can be found coaching and watching her children’s various sports and volunteering at their school. Taryne and her family love to travel together, and one of their favorite destinations is the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.
